Established in 1893, Writtle University College, UK, has been delivering educational excellence for nearly 125 years!

As a small and specialised institution we offer Norwegian students expertise in a range of unique subjects. Our professional and specialist facilities enable you to apply theory to practice, enhancing your employability. Meet us in 2018 in Norway!

Location
Writtle University College (WUC) is located 64km east of London, and within easy distance of three international airports. Chelmsford city, with a population of 168,000, is 3km from WUC, here you can spend your spare time enjoying a variety of restaurants, bars, cinemas, theatres, parks and shops. There is also a beautiful 800 year old cathedral in the centre, where our graduations are held. WUC is spread over 220 hectares of stunning English countryside in the heart of Essex. Essex has the second largest coastline of any English county at 560km and has 35 islands, more than any other English county, but not quite the 50,000 that Norway has! Writtle village, a five minute walk from the campus, is a beautiful English village which has a duck pond, village green, pubs, cafes and a supermarket. Please see our photo gallery.
